Tips: Please read the following information before purchasing this balancer
1. The balancer is the function of balancing the voltage difference between the batteries to prolong the service life, it has no function to protect the battery, the two lines of defense to protect the battery are the charger and the BMS, it will not damage the battery, if your battery has abnormality, please check whether the battery itself is new or old first, then whether the BMS and the charger match, the BMS overcharge and overdischarge failure does not protect the battery, etc.
2. two modes :
Turn on sleep function: When the battery voltage is lower than 3V, automatically turn off the balance and sleep.
Turn off sleep function: active balance is always on and does not sleep.
When the voltage does not meet the balancing conditions, it may not light up blue and the cell voltage difference is less than 0.05V and the total voltage of the first 4 cells is less than 11V will not be balanced. It will automatically go to sleep.
When the voltage does not meet the balancing conditions, it may not light up blue, the voltage difference is less than 0.05V. The total voltage of the first 4 batteries is less than 11V, both of which will not turn on the balancing, and it may go to sleep.
If the balancer’s mode button is on ON, it will rest for 1-2 hours after performing a balance, and after the balance time is up to about 12 hours, the blue light will go off even if there is a pressure difference.
It will passively go to sleep, it will rest, even if you adjust it to OFF now. If you mind this mode, recommended that you adjust the button to OFF all the time.
For example :
Balancer will turn on when the first battery voltage is greater than 3V. If below it will turn off automatically and will not light.
When total voltage of the 1st to 4th cells is greater than 11V it will turn on balance. If below it will automatically turn off and will not light.
When the voltage difference of the battery is greater than 0.05V it will be turned on. If below it will turn off and will not light.
It detects the pressure difference between two adjacent batteries, Like the 1st and 2nd cells, the 3rd and 4th cells.
After the battery has been balanced, it will automatically sleep for 1-2 hour. Then check the voltage difference again and start the next balancing, and the light will be on automat.
Please do not judge the working status of the balancer by whether it is on or not.
Inspections that determine that they are not working:
1. Check if the hardware fuse is normal
2. Check if the voltage passes through the balancer normally
3. Use the clamp current meter to test whether there is a balance current in the state of turning off the sleep switch, but the test conditions need to meet the conditions of a single voltage greater than 3V, the total voltage of the first four batteries greater than 11V, and the voltage difference greater than 0.05V.
After installation, please be sure to test whether the voltage of each battery passes through the balancer normally, the incorrect voltage will smoke and burn out the balancer as soon as it is powered on.
Please check the correct order of insertion and unplugging before operating, the damage caused by the wrong sequence and wiring is no longer covered by the warranty.
For newly assembled battery packs. It works well with BMS. BMS only has a small balancing current, and the active balancer can extend the life of the battery.
Please don’t use it as a professional balancer to repair the old battery. It is not suitable for the old battery with large internal resistance and capacity difference. the old battery that has been lost no repair meaning. There will always be a large voltage difference when charging. Even the professional balancer cannot always repair the poor old battery. Recommended to replace it separately.

Warm tips:
1. This model cannot remove the connector to balance other batteries. For example, after balancing a battery pack, remove it for another battery pack. If you do that it will definitely damage the balancer, it must be fixed with the battery pack together.
2. If you want to use this balancer for solar energy storage batteries, its balance current may not be large. Since the solar energy storage battery always charging and discharging, the battery voltage difference is small, and the current obtained is also small. if the capacity is the same, and the greater the voltage difference, the greater the current.
3. The pressure difference of the newly established battery pack will not be very large, but the capacity must be consistent. If the battery voltage difference is 0.2V-0.3V, it is a very large voltage difference value. There may be a voltage difference of 0.5V at the end of full charge and discharge, and the balance current will also be the largest at this time. But the pressure difference value will not last for a long time.
4. About 10A balance current: When the voltage difference exceeds 0.8V, it will reach 10A balance current but It does not mean that each string of batteries could reach a current of 10A.
Normally, a 4A balance current is the safest. Allowing the balance current to be 10A for a long time will damage the balancer.
Do not create a pressure difference of more than 0.7V and keep it for 10 minutes or longer will damage the balancer.
5. First use:
1) Please connect each balance cable carefully, the wrong wiring will damage the balancer.
2) Do not disassemble the connector port always. Frequent plugging and unplugging of the connector may cause poor contact and affect the balance current.
3) It must be installed with the battery and fixed.
4) The green connector must be pulled out before wiring.
5) The connector can be plugged in after the balance cable connection is completed, and the charging is started for the first use to enhance the balance effect.
