Active Equalizer Balancer
The Enerkey 5A Active Balancer is a device designed to balance the State of Charge SOC between LiFePO4 Cells connected in series and ensuring that maximum capacity of a bank is available before triggering in high or low cell voltage protections prematurely.It can helps prolong the battery. life by making the batteries more durable.
One of the limitations of the Enerkey 5A Active Balancer is that the balance time for large capacity batteries is slow due to the fixed balance current, while the balance time for small capacity batteries is fast. However, this can be mitigated by using multiple balancers to balance the battery bank. One advantage of this balancer is that it does not require an external power supply, as the entire group is balanced by internal energy transfer of the battery.
Application
It is mostly used in the battery packs of small sightseeing cars, mobility scooters, shared cars, high-power energy storage, base station backup power, solar power stations and other products. It can also be used for battery balancing maintenance, repair and other occasions.

Working voltage: 1.8V-4.5V, Suitable for ternary lithium, lithium iron phosphate, lithium titanate.
2. Working principle:
The capacitor fit transfers the charge mover, the equalization board is connected to the battery, and the equalization is started.

With under-voltage sleep protection, the voltage will stop automatically when the voltage is lower than 3.0V,
And the standby power consumption is less than 0.1mA.For all means suitable for ternary lithium, lithium iron phosphate, lithium titanate.
3. Balanced Cascading
Support balanced cascading for battery packs, for example , it can cascade for 11S , 24S ,36S , 48S….and so on
4. Direction for use
Step 1. Terminal wire is soldered to the battery pack.Connect the terminal wire to the PCBA.
Step 2. 13 or more string plugs need to be inserted obliquely,first touch the B-pins and insert them obliquely upwards,Otherwise it may cause the board to burn out.
NOTE: As shown in the figure above,
There can be multiple common ends of energy exchange, So that the efficiency of equilibrium will be higher;
It is also possible to use only one common end of the
energy exchange at the junction of two modules,
The other free feet are suspended, And it is best to
distribute the number of strings equally on each board.
